Astrix Surpasses $500,000 in Sales for its First Quarter of Fiscal 2015

Burlington, ON, Canada – February 26, 2015 – Astrix Networks Inc. (“Astrix”), operating as Memex Automation (“Memex”) (TSX-V: OEE), the global leader of manufacturing M2M productivity software, released its financial results and operational highlights for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.

For the first time in its history, Astrix surpassed the half-million dollar mark in quarterly sales with a total of $501,178 for the latest period, ended December 31, 2014.  This compares with total sales of $207,000 in the prior quarter, and $157,000 in the same quarter of the prior year, increases of 142% and 219% respectively.  The company also saw its highest quarterly gross margin since inception at $334,000.

Company President, David McPhail, provides comment on Astrix achieving this milestone. “We are pleased with the increase in the customer adoption rate of our technology, reflected in the Q1-2015 sales numbers. Revenues include new MERLIN customers as well as additional follow on revenue from our existing MERLIN customers. Total revenue for the quarter just completed is the highest Astrix has experienced thus far.”

1.25 Million Share-options Issued to Senior Management Team

Burlington, ON, Canada – February 25, 2015 – Astrix Networks Inc. (“Astrix”), operating as Memex Automation (“Memex”) (TSX-V: OEE), the global leader of manufacturing M2M productivity software, approved at its last Board Meeting, February 23, 2015, the granting of a total of 1.25 million share options to its five member senior management team, 250,000 to each member.  The share options are exercisable at a price of $0.15 per share and vest over the next three years, with half vesting on February 23, 2017 and the remaining half vesting on February 23, 2018. The share options expire on February 23, 2020.

China International Machine Tool Show (CIMTS)

Memex Automation is attending the 14th China International Machine Tool Show, located in Beijing, China.

The 14th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT 2015), organized by China Machine Tool & Tool Builders Association (CMTBA), is expected to be the largest machine tool industry trade show in China.  (To give an example on how large CIMTS is expected to be, attendance is expected to be two and a half times that of IMTS, held in Chicago, IL.)

CMTBA has over 1500 members from the sectors of metal cutting, machine tool, special purpose machinery, metal forming machinery, woodworking machinery, CNC systems, digital readout units, machine tool appliances and accessories, and more.  There are 25 sub-associations according to their product categories.

CIMT 2015 will take place on April 20-25, 2015 at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC), Beijing.

Leading Enterprise Manufacturing Companies Purchase Memex Automation’s MERLIN Software

Burlington, ON, Canada – February 18, 2015 – Astrix Networks Inc., operating as Memex Automation (TSX-V: OEE) (“Astrix”), the global leader of manufacturing M2M productivity software, is pleased to announce Addison, IL-based Overton Chicago Gear Corporation and Ingersoll Rand Trane have made initial purchases of the machine tool productivity software solution MERLIN.

“Overton Chicago Gear (OCG) in its pursuit of continual improvement of its operation has reached an agreement with Memex to install its MERLIN data collection system on a number of machines,” said Don Brown, President and CEO of Overton Chicago Gear.  “One of the reasons OCG selected MERLIN is that one of our other divisions has had a successful experience with this system and the ability it has given them to increase machine uptime and throughput.”

“We see how the MERLIN system can collect data automatically from the machine, with much detail and granularity of events which will give us much more actionable data to streamline our manufacturing process,” continued Brown. “We are looking forward to a successful launch in Q1 2015.”
